2016 Buick Encore

Refreshed 2017 Buick Encore will make its public debut at 2016 New York Auto Show. It is built in South Korea and is related to Europe’s Opel Mokka. Encore has been on sale since 2012 and has proven to be a hit for GM’s luxury brand.

Buick declined to reveal what changes would be applied to this model but AS Auto Parts Blog have little information about its engine. In USA, standard Buick Encore will be available with 138-hp, 1.4-liter turbo-four engine whereas the Sport Touring Trim level already offers 153-hp direct-injection that joins Opel Mokka X range overseas.

Buick’s updated model will look similar to its European Cousin, Opel Mokka X. It will have new front end and different dashboard that integrates new-gen infotainment systems in center stack with 7 and 8 inch displays.

Buick need to keep their new model fresh as it is the brand’s best selling model. It delivered 67,549 models in 2015 alone that is a 38.2 percent jump over the previous year. Popularity of this model continued in January 2016 as well with 4,920 deliveries.

2016 New York Auto Show will start on March 25th so you do not have to wait long to see what this compact has to offer. Stay tuned to AS Auto Parts Blog for more information on updates of this model for next few months.
