Asia’s largest auto show, the Auto Expo is just two months away and the list of exhibitors for 2016 year has already been announced. 100 exhibitors are taking part in this 2016 motor show out of which 65 are automakers. Here is a list of 5 SUVs and crossover that will be displayed at the event:

1. Tata Nexon

First exhibited at 2014 Auto Expo as a concept, Tata Nexon’s production-version is to make its official debut at this upcoming event in February. Tata Nexon is going to share its platform with Tata cars such as Maruti Suzuki YBA-based sub-compact SV, Mahindra TUV 300 and Ford Eco Sport. It is likely to come with 1.3-liter diesel and an all-new 1.5-liter petrol engine.

2. Maruti Suzuki

Most awaited Maruti Suzuki’s first sub-compact SUV which is also named as YBA will finally reveal at 2016 Auto Expo. This upcoming model which took its design from global Vitara compact SUV has been extensively tested by company. Being sub-4 meter in length, Maruti Suzuki will only accommodate 5 passengers.

3. Renault Duster

2016 Renault Duster which is already spied many times will make its debut at 2016 Auto Expo. Although there are no changes in the engine of this upcoming model but 2016 Duster will come with various cosmetic changes both inside and out.

This India-bound model just like the Brazilian version of Duster will feature an all-new single-grille piece, new alloy wheels, newly-designed bumper, taillights and refurbished head-lamp cluster.

Renault Duster’s cabin will also go through some changes and get a 5-speed automated manual transmission.

4. Nissan X-Trail

Nissan X-Trail which was discontinued in 2014 is also returning this year at Auto Expo. First exhibited at 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show, Nissan’s 7-seater SUV is based on company’s CMF platform. It will be longer and wider than its predecessors and might be available with a 1.6-liter diesel unit that is good for 138bhp and 320Nm.

5 .Volkswagen Tiguan

Volkswagen India is planning to exhibit its most anticipated Tiguan SUV at 2016 Auto Expo. The model will be based on MQB platform and is 60mm longer, 33mm lower and 30mm wider than its predecessor. Cabin of Tiguan also has ample space than the old one with 29mm additional rear knee room.

Volkswagen’s 7-seater SUV which is set to take on Chevrolet Trailblazer, Ford Endeavour and Toyota Fortuner could be available with both diesel and petrol engine options.
