It was reported earlier that Tesla will reveal its Model 3 in March and now AS Auto Parts Blog have solid date for its readers. Multiple sources have confirmed that this budget-friendly EV will be launched on March 31 in Los Angeles, USA.

It is already been confirmed that Model 3 will go on sale for $350,000 before any government incentives. This price makes it by far more affordable than Model S. Model 3 will continue Tesla’s tradition of being all-electric and it will have a range of 200 miles.

Musk has not detailed the design of this upcoming model or released any pictures of vehicle but it is likely to take concepts from Model X and Model S to make smaller sedan.

As per some reports, this model will have some new luxury features. These reports also claims that Tesla may show stripped down Model X SUV called Model Y at its March event.

One thing we do know about Model 3 is that the company will not show all of its features on March 31. Elon Musk, Tesla’s CEO has already indicated that not everything about this model will be unveiled at the launch date.

Other important details will be revealed closer to the production time of Model 3. Effectively what we are going to see at the March 31 launch event will be pre-production Model 3. Tesla expects to sell total of 500,000 cars by 2020. Company has confirmed that customers will be able to pre-order Model 3 online on April 1 before it hit streets in late 2017.
